Signs you may benefit from counseling:

  • feeling more controlled by anxiety or worry than you would like

  • difficulty sleeping

  • often feeling irritable

  • avoiding activities you used to enjoy

  • feelings of worthlessness, excessive guilt, or always expecting the worse to happen

  • recent life transitions — new job/job loss, a move, divorce, death of a loved one, birth of a baby, recent marriage, etc. (Even perceived good events can result in a difficult adjustment period!)
